Sermon Title: I Need a Little Peace and Quiet

March 23rd
Scripture: Matthew 19:16-22
Have you ever been told that you have selective hearing? Well, if you are married, you have probably been accused of such an issue. When a person has selective hearing, it does not mean that they have a physical issue with hearing. Selective hearing means that you pick and chose what you want to hear.
This Sunday (3-23-25), I will be sharing a message entitled, “Do You Hear What I Hear” and it will focus on Matthew 19:16-22. The message will deal with a young man who has selective hearing. He sits in the presences of Jesus and asked Him a profound question about eternal life. He is anticipating an answer to his question that will satisfy his lifestyle, but soon realizes that Jesus has a different response. The young man’s hearing was not a physical issue, but a spiritual issue and he walked away heartbroken.
So, join us this Sunday as we clean out our spiritual ears and let the sweet voice of God resonate and activate in our daily walk with Him. – Pastor Dennis
