Missions

Our mission is impacting the kingdom of God one person at a time. We exist to help people reach their full
potential in Christ. We are devoted to worshiping God, loving one another, and making disciples of Christ.
We want to be a community that uplifts each other through prayer and service to one another.

Mission Team (Plan and organize mission/outreach opportunities for the church.)

  • Gabriel Project of Montgomery County (Assist pregnant/young mothers with baby needs)
  • “Treasure From Heaven” (The “Treasure from Heaven” consists of a dollar bill, informational cards,
    and Scripture cards placed in a clear zip-lock bag. Each of these Share Packets will be placed in
    various locations within the communities near the church.)
  • Thanksgiving Food Drive (Oct. 27, 2024 thru Nov. 17, 2024)
  • Samaritan’s Purse (Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ
    to children in need around the world through gift‍-‍filled shoeboxes. Each box packed full of quality
    toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God's immense love for
    the child. For many, it is their first gift ever! Delivered by our local church partners, shoebox gifts
    provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way. National

  • Blessing Bags (Blessing Bags are bags that contain necessities, toiletries, food, and some extras that
    you can keep with you to hand out when you come across an individual grappling with poverty. This is
    a concrete way to help when you feel the desire to do something, but don’t know what that looks like.
    These kits can help meet their immediate needs, as well as showing that they are seen and they are

Kitchen (Organize, setup, cleanup, and serve for food fellowships.)
Fellowship Team (Create, plan, and schedule engaging events for church-wide get-
together.)

  • Harvest Festival (Oct. 12, 2024)
  • Anniversary Service (Oct. 20, 2024)
  • Thanksgiving Gathering (Nov. 26, 2024)
  • Christmas Gathering/Banquet (Dec. 14, 2024)

Prayer Ministry (Minister to others by various forms of prayer outreach.)

  • Prayer Room (create a Prayer Room to be used every Sunday morning during Worship Service.)
  • Sticky Prayer Notes (Place “Sticky Prayer Notes” on car windshields during Worship Service.)

Administrative Ministries

  • Cemetery (Help keep cemetery organized, properly marked, and assist with burial requests.)
  • Security (Develop and implement a security plan and provide security.)
